God’s Plan of Salvation Hatched

One may ask, why must the Lord take the Church back to Heaven before the Tribulation Years start?  In the Old Testament, God had given many examples of His ‘plucking’ His chosen ones out before He sent judgement upon the land.

Because of Adam’s sin, this planet was handed over to the Devil for him to rule over.  When God created the Heavens and the Earth and everything in it, the Lord gave the keys to Adam to have dominion over everything.  But Adam sinned and disobeyed God in not keeping the Lord’s command not to eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.  Man was meant to eat from the Tree of Life so that he can live forever but he chose to eat of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil and so God had to drive him and his wife Eve out of the Garden of Eden so that he cannot subsequently eat of the fruit of the Tree of Life and thereafter live in perpetual condemnation without hope of redemption.  Because Adam and Eve listened to the Devil and disobeyed God, he forfeited his rightful position of glory and blessedness and thereafter the authority was transferred to the Devil.

Now God foreknew this would happen and He had already hatched a plan of salvation to redeem the spirits of mankind through the shedding of the Blood of His Son.  Because God had already given mankind the gift of choice, He had to honour that covenant and hence He chose His own timing to execute His Redemption Plan.

After Adam and Eve sinned and ate of the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Bad, the Lord prophesied of the serpent (Devil was in the serpent).  

Genesis 3: 14-15 - 

v14  “Because you have done this, you are cursed more than all cattle, and more than every beast of the field;   On your belly you shall go, and you shall eat dust all the days of your life.

v15  And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her Seed;  He shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise His heel.”

So the Devil had been looking out for the Seed of the woman to ensure that the prophecy would not come to past. The Devil caused Cain to murder Abel (Genesis 4) thinking that that would end the human race but God gave Adam and Evil another son (Seth) to carry on the bloodline. And the Devil thought he could frustrate God’s plan of salvation by corrupting the human race - he instigated some of the fallen angels to cohabitate with the human women and cause their children to be born as giants (rephaim).

This was not part of God’s original plan for mankind and so He decided to wipe out these giants.  However, because God is a just and righteous God, He restrained Himself and did not send judgement immediately. Instead, He gave them a warning - He caused Enoch to have a son and asked him to name the boy Methuselah. This boy was to be a living wake-up call to repentance because his name meant “his death shall bring” - and the people knew that judgement will come as soon as Methuselah dies.  Imagine every day, the first thing the people would do is to check whether Methuselah was still alive.

Because God is patient, Methuselah became the oldest living person in all creation - he lived to the age of 969 years and history had it that shortly after Methuselah died, God sent the Flood to destroy every living thing on Earth - every animal and bird in the air - except those that God saved in the ark that Noah (Methuselah’s grandson) built.

Enoch, Methuselah’s father, was taken out of this Earth when he was 365 years old and he did not die because the Lord took him home bypassing the physical death stage. Now, one may ask why did the Lord not let Enoch die a physical death but took him back to Heaven?  I submit to you that the Lord wants to use Enoch’s life to be a witness for all Christians alive today that He will do the same for us at the Rapture - the snatching up of the Saints (in Greek, it is ‘harpadzo’).

Yom Teruah - The Feast of Trumpets

Wow, I did not realise that I had not posted any updates here since September 2015 just before Rosh Hashanah Celebrations.  A lot had happened since and there is so much to catch up and update here and it will take me some time to do just that. 

To start with, I am still physically around and so the Church of our Lord Jesus Christ has yet to be snatched away - “harpadzo" in Greek and translated as ‘raptured’. Indeed, year in and year out it is my custom to look forward to the Hebrew Festival of “Feast of Trumpets” (Yom Teruah in Hebrew) or Rosh Hashanah (Festival of New Hebrew Year) to witness the physical snatching away of all Believers in Jesus Christ to bring them back to Heaven to be with His children for eternity.

The Apostle Paul writes in 1 Thessalonians 4:16-17 

v16  For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. 

v17  Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.

Because of the word “trumpet” in verse 16, Christians have drawn a strong association between the Feast of Trumpets with the Rapture of the Church. Another reason for the linkage is because all the feasts given by the Lord in the Old Testament have found their fulfilment to the exact date in the Hebrew calendar (well, at least four out of seven had been fulfilled so far).

1. Feast of Passover - Nisan 14 (Pesach) - fulfilled on Good Friday in AD 30
2. Feast of Unleavened Bread - Nisan 14-20 - fulfilled in AD 30
3. Feast of First Fruits - Nisan 17 - fulfilled on Resurrection Sunday (also known as Easter Sunday) in AD 30.
4. Feast of Pentecost - Sivan 6 (Shavuot) - fulfilled on Pentecost Sunday in AD 30.
5. Feast of Trumpets - Tishrei 1-2 (Yom Teruah) - yet to be fulfilled.
6. Day of Atonement - Tishrei 10 (Yom Kippur) - yet to be fulfilled
7. Feast of Tabernacles - Tishrei 14-21 (Sukkot) - yet to be fulfilled.

It is interesting that the Church was born on Pentecost when God poured forth HIs Holy Spirit and thousands believed in Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior and we believe that the Church Age will end with the Rapture as the Lord Himself will come and take the Believers home together with His Spirit. So this day is going to be an extremely important day for the Church and all who put their trust in our Lord Jesus Christ.

Rosh Hashanah Is Coming Around The Corner

Within the next 13 days or less, the Hebrew Festival of Trumpets or Rosh Hashanah will come around. This will be on Tishrei 1 & 2 (Hebrew calendar) or between sundown 6:00 PM Sunday September 13 to 6:00 PM Tuesday September 15, 2015 (all Jerusalem time).

Now what is going to happen? one might ask.  Please scroll down to what I posted last year on September 07, 2014 and read what I believed in.  Unfortunately what I expected in 2014 did not materialise but I believe there is a stronger reason for it to take place over Rosh Hashanah 2015. So, if you are reading this post after September 15 and you find none of the Christians physically around on planet Earth, then know for a sure fact that all the Christians (including children below the age of accountability) had been taken up physically back to Heaven to be with the Lord Jesus Christ and so 'escape' the terrible years ahead - years that the Bible labels as tribulation years that will stretch over seven years (of 360 days duration for each year).

During these seven years of tribulation, it will become almost impossible to live on this planet. There will be wars, killings, famine, sicknesses and diseases never seen or heard of before and other terrible catastrophes. There might even be a couple of nuclear bombs going off and the radiation will be so intense that whatever happened after Nagasaki and Hiroshima combined will look like child's play.

So, while there is still time, I would strongly urge you (the reader) to put your faith in Jesus Christ as you own personal Lord and Saviour.  The Bible says that he/she would put their faith in the Lord will be saved - from eternal condemnation, from eternal judgement and even deliverance from this looming tribulation situation.

There is a prayer for salvation at the end of this blog-site. Say the prayer from your heart and you will become a child of Jesus Christ and you will be delivered from judgement. Don't wait but do it immediately because the sand-clock of time had already started and will be running out very soon.
