In His Olivet discourse found in Matthew 24:29, our Lord Jesus Christ spoke of the sun being darkened (solar eclipse) and the moon not giving its light (moon eclipse) as signs of His coming. Interestingly enough many of these sun and moon eclipses had associated events in the history of Israel as a nation.

The year 2014 is going to be a very interesting and exciting year. Not only are there going to be a series of sun eclipses and moon eclipses, the Lord had also proclaimed in Psalm 114:7-8, "Tremble, O earth, at the presence of the Lord, at the presence of the God of Jacob, Who turned the rock into a pool of water, the flint into a fountain of waters."
ReplyDeleteThe Book of Psalms is a prophetic book and the number of the psalm corresponds with the year. Hence Psalm 114 is actually prophesying about the year 2014.
So I would encourage you the reader to look up and see the handiwork of the Lord.
