The Armor of God - The Helmet Of Salvation

Ephesians 6:17

New King James Version (NKJV)
17 And take the helmet of salvation, and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God;

For the devil to be effective in his attempts on deceiving us, he has to create some form of doubt in us to waiver us from the full love of God as demonstrated by Jesus on the cross for us. Let's reflect back on our own childhood; we are afraid of the dark because we were told scary stories at night and some of our seniors even add fuel to the fire when they dress up as ghosts to scare the wits out of us.
Do you know that witch doctors cannot make their voodoo dolls effective if we don't subscribe to their spread of fear? notice that they have to tell you the time and mode of operations - like you will feel pain (object) in your body (location) at night (time) when you want to lie down or having your meal (time specific). Now, once you begin to believe this scare report, you will begin to look out for the pain whenever you are having your meals at night - dinner or supper - or when you go to bed. Soon, you will start to fantasize and imagine the needles going into the body.
My friend, I have good news for all. Jesus died to set us free from the bondage of sin to live in the realm of the Spirit. And since we live in the realm of the Holy Spirit, we will begin to repent  or change our mind (metaknoia in Greek) about the goodness of our Lord and we grow more and more in confidence that nothing can separate us from the love of God when we are in Christ.
Romans 8:35, 37-39
New King James Version (NKJV)
35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?
37 Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us.
38 For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come,
39 nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
And so, once we know the secure position we have in Christ, we can then rest easy and not be swayed by what the devil throws at us.
Therefore we need to immerse our minds and

Philippians 4:8

New King James Version (NKJV)
8 Finally, brethren, whatever things are true, whatever things are noble, whatever things are just, whatever things are pure, whatever things are lovely, whatever things are of good report, if there is any virtue and ifthere is anything praiseworthy—meditate on these things.

The Armor of God - The Shield Of Faith

The next piece of armor for the Roman soldier is the largest and therefore covers most of his surface area. In defence the soldier will use the shield to fend off all arrows, projectiles as well as the sword and so it had to work for him.
Ephesians 6:16
New King James Version (NKJV)
16 above all, taking the shield of faith with which you will be able to quench all the fiery darts of the wicked one.
For the shield to be effective, it had to be made of a strong material and yet be light. Now we need to remember that this shield was part of the Roman soldier's armory in the first century and not the twentieth century and so we have to rule out aluminum alloy or stainless steel. So say that the shield was cut out of wood but then the soldier will be lugging along a weighty burden.
Now I submit to you that the shield was actually made out of cow-hide (or bull-hide) because the Roman soldier loves his meat and there are plenty in those countries they conquered. Cow-hide will be lighter than wood and to make it pliable, they soak their shields in water and because the hide is soaking wet, any fiery arrows (darts as in the NKJV above) will be quenched when they are lodged in the shield.
We also note that the shield actually stretched from the soldiers eye down to his toes and the Romans invented the concept of the military tank; they had the ability to form a box with those on the inside holding their shields above their heads thus enclosing themselves from fiery arrows from above their heads in addition to all the sides.
Why did Paul use the shield for his instruction on faith? I submit to you that the weapon the devil uses against us is accusations and lies about our positions of righteousness. He needs to  get us disoriented first so that when we lower our guard he will then attack us directly.
1 Peter 5:8-9
New King James Version (NKJV)
8 Be sober, be vigilant; because[a] your adversary the devil walks about like a roaring lion, seeking whom he may devour. 9 Resist him, steadfast in the faith, knowing that the same sufferings are experienced by your brotherhood in the world.
Peter tells us that the devil walks around like a roaring lion seeking whom he may devour. Notice a lion only roars when he wants to intimidate its prey. Once he is stalking its prey, he will switch to silent mode so that its prey does not know what hit it; a complete surprise. Notice Peter also mentions our weapon against the devil - our faith.
So my friend, continue to exercise your faith every day to build our spiritual strength and when the devil realizes that we are not in the category of 'devourable' he will have no choice but to leave us alone.

The Armor of God - Shoes of the Readiness that Comes From The Gospel of Peace

Does it ever occurred to you that it is odd that Paul should point out the shoes that a Roman soldier wears as part of his armor? What has the shoes got to do to protect the soldier? you may ask.

Ephesians 6:15

New International Version (NIV)
15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
I will tell you that a lot has to do with the type of shoes a soldier wears when he goes out for a mission. When I was serving my national service as a teenager, I recalled receiving my brand new pair of leather boots on the first day (in fact we received two pairs - for for training and the other for the parade square) and I had to 'break' them in and make them very comfortable for my legs. Like any new pair of footwear they do bite on the shin and the sole and walking in them for the first time was torturing but when one gets used to them, they will kind of 'blend' with the foot or rather the foot will blend with the shoes and soon they will become inseparable.
The feet carry us wherever we go and sometimes in our daily walk, we do come across unclean places and we need to wash our feet when we arrive home or when we reach our resting place. Jesus reminded us, on the night He was betrayed, after the Last Supper that we need to constantly wash our feet (John 13:1-11).
Now what is this washing of feet mean? We get a glimpse when we look at Ephesians 5:26-27

Ephesians 5:26-27

New International Version (NIV)
26 to make her holy, cleansing[a] her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
We are reminded that the cleansing should be with water and here the water refers to the water of the word of Christ. You see, we need to be constantly reminded that we are the righteousness of God in Christ (2 Corinthians 5:21) and that there is no condemnation (Romans 8:1) even when we had failed or 'walked' into places that we should not have ventured into. Our lives should be one constant walk in the gospel of peace - peace because God the Father is no longer dealing with our sins since He already dealt judiciously with them on Jesus at the cross - and we should always be ready to share that peace. Paul calls the shoes the shoes of the readiness of the gospel of peace.

The Armor of God - The Breastplate of Righteousness

Obviously the Rapture did not come else I will not be here to post another message. Anyway, there will be another year - 2012.
It is interesting to note that the apostle Paul describe the pieces of the Armor of God in a certain order. If I were to write the scriptures, I would have started from the top (helmet) down to the soles (shoes). No, by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit, Paul started with the belt and then he moved to the breastplate.
Ephesians 6:14
New King James Version (NKJV)
14 Stand therefore, having girded your waist with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness,
We must first be convinced of the truth that Jesus wants us to know that we know that we know - the truth that there is now no more condemnation for those of us who are in Christ. Jesus died for our sins and paid the ultimate price and because of that, the Father is very delighted with His sacrifice. Knowing the truth is only part of the weapon we need to counter the evil one.
We also need to put on the breastplate of righteousness. The Roman breastplate is one solid piece of metal that the soldier puts on to protect the thrusts and stabs of the sword as well as the arrows. Interestingly enough the breastplate needs to be strapped and tied at the back and to ensure it is worn properly, someone needs to help fasten it.
My friend, the Lord Himself is the One who will help to fasten the breastplate on us as He helps us put on the armor and once we have the breastplate on, we have protection over the most important organ in our bodies - the heart. We need to be convinced that we are on righteousness ground and therefore no weapons formed against us shall stand in our way - Isaiah 54:17
New King James Version (NKJV)
17 No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment you shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the LORD, and their righteousness is from Me,” says the LORD.

Rosh Hashanah 2011

A blessed new year to all our Jewish friends. Shana Tova. In exactly 1 hours and 45 minutes, the Jewish calendar will change to their new year 5772. Rosh Hashanah is celebrated over two days and therefore will end at their 6:00 PM Jerusalem on Sept 30.
Rosh Hashanah is the only festival day when they will bring out all their trumpets at the time of their evening sacrifice at 3:00 PM and sound them all at once; what a glorious sound that will make. Also the Jewish custom is to sound the trumpet during wedding celebrations as a sign of rejoicing. The apostle Paul wrote in
1 Thessalonians 4:16
New King James Version (NKJV)
16 For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first
- and so I will add that this Rosh Hashanah will be very special; will the sounding of the trumpets 3:00 PM Jerusalem tomorrow (Thursday) or on Friday signal the return of the Lord for us believers?
Of course, I am waiting with anticipation and would be more than ready when that happens. The question is, 'will it be this year?' or do we have to wait for yet another year? Certainly the signs are there - political and military developments in the middle east region; natural disasters; sicknesses and diseases; economic turmoil and even cosmic activities.
I don't know about you but I look forward to 08:00 PM Singapore time tomorrow... if you don't hear from me again, know for a certainty; I have gone with all the believers to be with our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ attending a wedding feast - the marriage of the Church with the Savior.
However, if it is not the right time as yet, trust me I will continue with this blog and there will be more posts.  Maranatha, Lord! Come Lord, we are waiting!

The Armor of God - The Belt Of Truth

The first piece of the armor that Paul referred to is the belt worn by the soldier. The belt is important as it held all his clothing together. The Roman soldier wears a one-piece tunic over his inner garment and this is generally a loose-fitting piece; hence he would need to wear a belt over the tunic so as not to expose his modesty as well as not tripping over it as he moved.
Something else that is interesting with the belt that the Roman soldier wore over his tunic - it is a leather belt wrapped around his waist with extension pieces dropping down to cover his private areas.
Ephesians 6:14 - Paul likened the belt as truth that holds everything tightly together and at the same time it is the truth that will protect the dignity of the believer. What is this truth? one may ask. Jesus died on the cross bearing all our sins and because He died, by faith we have also died with Him and hence all our sins have been forgiven. Since all our sins had been settled by the judicious death of our Savior, there is therefore no condemnation for us in Christ (Romans 8:1).
Had the truth been known to everyone who believes in Jesus as his/her personal Lord and Savior, there would not be so much misery and guilt feeling by Christians who are not conscious of the efficacy and full benefits of the Savior's death and resurrection.
Hence, by associating truth with the belt that upholds the modesty of the wearer, Paul is reminding us that we need not have any guilt feelings as all our sins have been forgiven and no condemnation hangs over us even in moments when we fail (especially when we fall). All we need to do in such moments is to pick ourselves up, thank the Savior for His grace (unmerited favor) and move on.

The Armor of God

The apostle Paul was inspired by the Roman guards who watched over him while he was in prison and this led him to write for us the secret of winning the daily 'battles' we have.
In Ephesians 6: 10-18, he described what each piece of the armor of the mighty Roman Empire would function for the protection as well as the advance of the soldier.
10 Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power.
11 Put on the full armor of God so that you can take your stand against the devil's schemes.
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying for all the saints.

Anniversaries of Two Major Disasters

September 11, 2011 marks the anniversaries of two major disasters: -

  • On Sep 11, 2001 terrorists from Al Qaeda hijacked four commercial planes and ramped three into buildings killing thousands in the process
  1. two planes hit the North and South Towers of World Trade Centre in New York bringing the entire complex of seven towers down in its weight
  2. one plane hit the western section of the Pentagon Building in Washington D.C.
  3. by God's grace, the fourth plane crashed onto a field when the passengers overpowered the hijackers.
  • On March 11, 2011 a major earthquake of magnitude 9.0 shook Miyagi Prefecture in eastern Honshu, Japan causing a tsunami with waves in excess of 14 metres wiping out thousands of homes and killed at least 22,000 inhabitants in its paths. The quake and tsunami also caused one nuclear reactor at the Fukushima Nuclear facility to leak radiation to the surrounding land and seas.
And so today is a rather sobering day for many as we remember the tragic loss of precious lives. Some people would say that these were 'acts of God' (as in the insurance industry) but really, is God really responsible for all these tragedies?

To answer that question, I suggest we take a look at the life and work of Jesus when He was on this planet. Jesus said that He and the Father are one and therefore the best reflection we can ever have of the heart of God is to look at His Son whom He sent to us so as to die and save us from our eternal destruction. In the four gospel accounts of Jesus' work, we read of Him performing many miracles of healing the sick and even resurrecting precious lives from the dead. And so, if we say that God was behind all the calamities, then there is a major disconnect - how can a disaster-causing God be a loving and healing Jesus at the same time? I know Jesus is NOT a schizophrenic - sending death at one instance and then healing at another. NO, Jesus is the personification of love Himself and He will do no such thing as sending people to their death.

I submit to you that the real person who is causing all these deaths is the devil himself. He is feeling lonely and he wants to have as many people dead so that they cannot attain eternal life but will join him in the eternal lake of fire. And so, will there be any more horror events in the future? yes, there will be but as beloved children of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, we can be protected when we turn to Him for His loving arms to shelter us from evil.

Faith Comes By Hearing...

The apostle Paul reminded his readers, "Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ." (Romans 10:17).
John 1:1 tells me that Jesus Christ is the Word of God Himself and so when we hear Him as He speaks to us about Himself and the Father's love for us, our love for Him increases and so goes our faith.
Had the word of the Father's love for us been known on a more widespread manner, there will be less misery, less violence around us; there will be more love and tolerance for one another and the world will definitely be a better place.
The writer of the Book of Hebrews defined faith in chapter 11 verse 1 as  "the confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see." It is the hope we place on something that we know exists but which we cannot see at that particular point in time and so, as Christians, we place our faith in our beloved relationship with Jesus as our Daddy God and because He is our Daddy, we have nothing to fear but everything to gain.
So, put your faith in the Lord and keep hearing His word and soon you will be able to overcome the challenges you encounter in life.

Unless One Is Born Again, One Cannot Enter The Kingdom.

The jihadist believes that his acts of terrorism for the cause of spreading Islam will earn him credits to enable him to enter paradise where 72 virgins would await him to serve him.
Notice again the male chauvinism coming into play - appeals only to the male and not the female. How sad they will be when the truth be made known to them that theirs will not be a place of eternal bliss but of eternal damnation.
Another group will have us believe that the more good works one does, the better the chances of scoring enough 'charlie' points to get them their entry ticket into heaven.
Nothing can be further from the truth. Jesus Christ Himself said that no man can come to the Father except through Him. He should know as He came from the Father and He and the Father is one and the same. It is very clear as far as the Bible is concerned; he who would receive the Jesus, the Son of God, will have eternal life and he who would not would be eternally damned and nothing can save him because he has rejected the only source of salvation.
And so my friends, unless one is born again, one cannot enter into His eternal kingdom but will be thrown into the lake of fire to face eternal condemnation. Make the right choice and choose LIFE - receive the Lord Jesus Christ into your life and you will immediately be saved. Please pray the believer's prayer at the bottom of this blog and you will be a child of Jesus immediately.

Relationships In A Marriage

When a person believes in Jesus as his Lord and Savior and receives Him into his heart, the Holy Spirit comes and indwells him and with the Lord's presence, he becomes a blessings magnet. Now, imagine what it is like when two believers come together in a marriage and form a family unit - that relationship is doubly blessed since Christ is now not only present in each believer's life but, being united, He become the third cord in that family unit and soon that relationship will begin to flourish.
Ecclesiastes 4:12 tells us, "Though one may be overpowered, two can defend themselves. A cord of three strands is not quickly broken".
So a marriage that is centered around Christ (the third person in the marriage) will be strong (see picture on the left - Three-strand Cord) as each strand twines around the other two and hence strengthens each other.

However, looking at the second picture  (see picture on the right - Four-strand Cord), one can easily observe that alternate strands will not touch each other (the two black strands do not touch each other; similarly, the two brown strands never get to meet each other).
When a party outside of the marriage relationship enters into the fray, one of the two will become intertwined and 'break away' from the family unit and soon the entire marriage will be weakened.
When a new person is added into the family nucleus, the marriage relationship has to be worked on with double vigor, else the distraction will impact the tenacity of the marriage.
More strands do not automatically mean a stronger cord; unless conscious effort is put in to avoid crowding, the entire rope will be weakened and the cord will have to be discarded or rewoven. This conscious relationship building applies also to members of the family - children can occupy the place once held so lovingly by the spouses and if nothing is done to correct this, precious marriages can start to crumble and disintegrate.

The Lord commands the couple in Ephesians 5: 21-28
21  Submit to one another out of reverence for Christ.
22 Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands as you do to the Lord.
23 For the husband is the head of the wife as Christ is the head of the church, his body, of which he is the Savior.
24 Now as the church submits to Christ, so also wives should submit to their husbands in everything.
25 Husbands, love your wives, just as Christ loved the church and gave himself up for her
26  to make her holy, cleansing her by the washing with water through the word, 27 and to present her to himself as a radiant church, without stain or wrinkle or any other blemish, but holy and blameless.
28 In this same way, husbands ought to love their wives as their own bodies. He who loves his wife loves himself.
Marriage has to be worked at but not with human strength for that too can fail. Only with the strength that our Lord gives us when we look to Him can we succeed.

The Spirit Quenches Our Thirst

The past few days were rather hot and humid and many a times I had a dry throat and had to run to the tap to quench my thirst. When we are physically thirsty, we drink to wet our throats almost like on auto-pilot.

However, whenever we are thirsty in our spirit, what do we do? Some turn to their 'gods' (whatever those may be) hoping that their desires be satisfied but I know nothing can and will do except by the Holy Spirit.

The Holy Spirit is God Himself and as we have been created in HIS image, He is the only Person who can satisfy us. I encourage you to turn and receive your blessing from Jesus who freely gives us the Holy Spirit when we have Him in our hearts and He will teach you how to draw from Him.

Gaining A Son

This post was originally made on April 27, 2010 and it is reproduced here as a reminder to myself as well as a friend who is about to give his first daughter away.

Having walked my daughter down the aisle, I was asked during the wedding lunch how I felt and I remembered telling my friends that it was a mixture of three emotions;
1. Relief as the important day had finally come after almost one year of planning;
2. Sadness as she will be emigrating to live in Birmingham, UK where my son-in-grace works and reside (for the time being);
3. Joy as I know she will be in good hands having picked a man whom she loves and who is a Child of Christ.

Of course, as I turned the corner and proceeded down the centre of the Chamber, my thoughts went to what I would be saving to my son-in-grace as I place my daughter's hand into his at the altar.

Nobody knew what I had planned to say to him - not even my wife - as I wanted to give it to him as a surprise and so I had been allowing the 'speech' simmer in my mind the entire week (we had a rehearsal on Monday March 29).
And so when Pastor Mathews asked me whether I had anything to say to Joshua as I handed my daughter's hand over to him in marriage, my greatest moment had arrived.
With moist eyes from a joyous attitude, I turned to Joshua and told him,
"On behalf of Aunty Alice and I, I entrust this treasure in earthen vessel to you.
Take this jewel and love her, cherish and encourage her and together, build your house in the Lord.
Today your parents receives a daughter and we have gained a son".

Now I understand how God the Father must have felt when He became Father of the Bride (the Church) and the Father of the Groom (our Lord Jesus Christ) all at the same time - such joy and love. No wonder our Lord Jesus performed His first miracle at a wedding He was invited to and He blessed them over and above all that they could ever imagine.

Blood Of The Lamb

In the Old Covenant (before Jesus' death at the cross), the children of Israel would come before the Lord once a year on the Day of Atonement to make a sacrifice to the Lord and hope the sacrifice will be accepted. If the sacrifice does get accepted, the entire nation will be spared of the punishment and they get to live one more year.
However, should their sacrifice not be accepted, then there will be difficulties for  the coming year.

You see, the acceptance or non-acceptance of the sacrifice depends on the value of the sacrifice - whether there are spots or blemishes and also on the standing of the high priest who goes into the Holy of Holies to offer the sacrifice.

Praise the Lord, at the cross, not only did God the Father find the Sacrifice more than acceptable but also the High Priest Who offered the Sacrifice is more than worthy of performing the act of offering the Sacrifice.

In the Old Testament times, the sins of the people were only put away once a year but now, with the Blood of our Lord Jesus Christ, we have been washed with His Blood and made clean forever.

Christ Lives In Me

We often wonder what life is like if we can know our future before it happens.
Well, we do have that privilege because with Christ living inside of me, I know I can face tomorrow with the full confidence that things will work out right and even when things do not turn out the way I expect them to be, I am still a winner because of WHO I have within me.
So often many fail to recognize this important truth and fall for all the lies the devil puts in our minds; lies that 'no one cares for you', 'you are alone, kid', 'you are a loser'.
If the truth be known to all believers that they are the beloved of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, the devil will have no more room and he will have to give up his mind games with believers.
Remember, you HAVE Jesus inside of you the moment you receive Him into your life.

The Absolute Expression of Perfection

All of us aspire to see perfection in our lives especially in areas where we often fail. Some people exhibit this by acquiring status symbols to demonstrate their arrival at various stages. Just this afternoon, I was with a client who specializes in insuring luxury cars in Singapore and he was telling me how some of his clients were buying extremely expensive cars (those valued at SGD 500,000 and above) and would not bat an eyelid to pay annual insurance premiums of SGD 40,000. What compounds the 'stench' is that these clients would pay cash to acquire these assets.

I must admit I was tempted initially to covet after these things but the Holy Spirit arrested me in time. The greatest asset man can ever have in his life is JESUS who lives inside each of us when we received Him into our lives. He IS the absolute expression of perfection ever.

Our Blood Tells A Story

This sharing first appeared on July 2, 2008
Ever wondered what the writer of the Letter to the Hebrews meant in Hebrews 12:24, "to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel."?

Indeed, scientists have found that a person's identity is captured in his blood and through DNA testing, even the dead blood can tell a story of the deceased. Forensic scientists are using this discovery to solve mysteries surrounding unsolved crimes, etc. This same method was used recently (by that I mean about 15 years ago) in Israel to test samples of the dried blood found on the cracks of the large box containing the Ark of the Covenant beneath the place called Skull Hill as well as within the cracks on the ceiling from below the large depression in the ground above.

All human blood carries in it 47 chromosomes - 23 from the mother and 23 from the father and another either X or Y chromosome to determine the sex of the person. So when the test results came in from the Israeli laboratory, many eyebrows were raised. All the blood samples showed only 24 chromosomes; 23 from the mother and the Y chromosome for the male specie. The 23 chromosomes from the father are missing thus signifying that what the Bible said about a male child being borne out of a virgin birth is true! And one more important discovery - the scientists declared that the Blood is still alive!

One would have thought that the blood stream would have clotted long ago to become a cake of blood but not this sample. They said that they could still see the life in the Blood under the microscope. Imagine the reaction of these Israeli scientists who performed the test? - yes, I believe they are now in the family of Messianic Believers, gloriously saved! Hallelujah.

Sense of Humor To Prove A Point

This sharing was first posted on November 23, 2008.
Ever faced a situation where you are lost with words on how to make a delicate point without putting people off? Well, a friend sent me this short illustration to prove a point...
Israeli Sense of Humour at UNAn ingenious example of speech and politics occurred recently in the United Nations Assembly and made the world community smile.
The representative from Israel began:
'Before beginning my talk I want to tell you something about Moses. When he struck the rock and it brought forth water, he thought, 'What a good opportunity to have a bath!' He removed his clothes, put them aside on the rock and entered the water. When he got out and wanted to dress, his clothes had vanished. A Palestinian had stolen them.’
The Palestinian representative to the UN jumped up furiously and shouted, 'What are you talking about? The Palestinians weren't even there then.’
The Israeli representative smiled and said 'And now that we have made that clear, I will begin my speech.’
I am learning..

What is Laminin?

This sharing was originally posted on August 14, 2008.
A good friend of mine sent me an article way back in January this year sharing what she heard about this term "Laminin" and I was like, 'huh? what is that'. Well, look no further because I have included some pictures of Laminin here so that, as the saying goes, 'seeing is believing' and please don't just take it from me.
The apostle Paul wrote in Colossians 1:15-17 about our Lord Jesus christ.
v15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn over all creation.
v16 For by Him all things were created: things in heaven and on earth, visible an dinvisible, whether thrones or powers or rulers or authorities; all things were createdby Him and for Him.
v17 He is before all things, and in Him ALL THINGS HOLD TOGETHER! (emphasis are mine).
And of course, you want to see more right?
Well, after seeing what the molecular structure of our cells look like, I began to understand why the apostle Paul was so convinced that the world actually has no excuse not to believe in Who Jesus is and what He had accomplished for us on the Cross. You can read all about his arguments in Romans chapter 1.

And to think that some people still cling on to the hypothesis of evolution? to say that humans are evolved from primates is really an insult to our Lord and Savior.
Go on, show them the pictures of the Laminin's and let them be bowled over
